Where does the tour start? Can you pick me up?
Since this is a private tour, we offer maximum flexibility. We can meet you at your hotel in the city center, directly at the Ravenna train station (perfect if you are coming from Bologna), or in the main square, Piazza del Popolo. Just let us know your preference after booking.
How do I get to Ravenna from Bologna?
It’s a very easy 1-hour train ride. Regional trains depart almost every hour from Bologna Centrale and cost around €8. The Ravenna station is central and a great starting point for our tour.
What happens if my train is delayed or there is a strike?
We understand that travel hiccups happen. While we always try our best to accommodate late arrivals or adjust the start time, please note that rescheduling is not guaranteed as it depends on our guides' availability. We recommend checking for train strikes a few days in advance.
Does the tour run in bad weather?
Yes. Ravenna’s famous mosaics are all indoors and our food stops are well-sheltered. The walking distances between sites are very short, so a little rain won't spoil the experience.

It’s a full experience. You’ll start with local street food (Piadina or Crescione) and wine, followed by a complete sit-down lunch. Most guests find the portions very satisfying, so we suggest a very light breakfast.
Is wine included?
Yes, a glass of local Sangiovese is included with your street food tasting, and more local wine is served with your lunch. Non-alcoholic options are always available.
