Today we visited SANA, the international exhibition of organic and natural products in Bologna, this year at his 25th edition. It's a date on our calendar that every year we don't miss because it gives us the chance to enjoy a nice food tour between the excellences of organic productions in Italy. From the "industrial" organic company to the small olive oil producer of Tuscany, you can have a nice view of the trends in organic market and discover new products or producers that deserve to be found.
We visited stands of the main italian organic companies like Alce Nero, Ecor, Sotto le Stelle or NaturaSi but we enjoyed the most was the chat with small producers, like the farmer from Arezzo who makes checkpea miso, the Japanese master who showed us the ritual of matcha tea, the homebrewer who makes artichoke beer (!) or the old lady from Umbria who creates alpaca sweaters and clothes. Unfortunately you haven't the chance to buy food directly from the stands, but there's a shop where you could find most of the products of the fair.
In the gallery below have a taste of SANA 2013.
