I was born in Bologna in a hot day of August in 1985. I'm an engineer and I travel a lot, for work and pleasure, but Bologna is where I live and belong.
My interest in food originates from my grandparents: since 1940 my grandmother held a food store in a small place in the country area of Bologna and my grandfather was an experienced butcher. They spent their lives working to provide great food to other people and share their knowledge about where it came from.
This project started on a beach in summer 2013, with a pen, the back of a postcard and the hope to invent a job that I deeply love. Taste Bologna has to be exactly what I'd like to find when I travel outside Italy to visit a city: enthusiastic local people, who'd like to share their passion for food and guide me outside the touristic routes to find the real excellences of the town.
4 years later Taste Bologna has become a full team: guides like Sara, Caterina, Riccardo and Elena and all the owners of the places we visit are not just simple business partners but friends and collaborators that work hard everyday to offer the best experience we can.
